Comprehensive Surgical Care

BlueStone provides many types of surgical care — including
in-patient or out-patient hospital-based surgery as well as many procedures performed in our office. Whenever possible, we use minimally invasive procedures to facilitate healing quickly and more completely.

1. ✦General Surgery – Hernia, abdominal, spleen, liver, gall bladder, pancreas, thyroid, parathyroid and rectal surgery.
   

2. ✦Thoracic Surgery – Surgeries that involve the chest and lungs, including lung cancer.
   

3. ✦Vascular Surgery – Surgery involving the arteries and veins such as the carotid arteries and abdominal aortic aneurysms.
   

4. ✦Breast Surgery – Surgical biopsies in office and in the hospital, lumpectomies, mastectomies, and surgical treatment of breast cancer.
   

5. ✦Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery – Whenever possible this option is used to perform complex intra-abdominal surgery. 
   

6. ✦Varicose Vein Care –  We treat both cosmetic and medical issues associated with varicose veins.
   

7. ✦Vasectomy – We utilize the micro-incisional technique in office.
   

8. ✦Colonoscopy – Routine and diagnostic procedures are performed in the GI Lab at Exempla Good Samaritan Medical Center.
